Many of us have an idea for a branded fashion product that is missing in the world. Design a brand a fashion product that you think is missing from the marketplace. Before you start you will need to conduct research to see if it already exists. Also, you should figure out if there is a need for the product. Use current periodicals such as Woman’s Wear Daily or WWD Accessories to help you with your research. Explain your findings to the class. What I want to produce.
The product that I want to produce is a bracelet that focuses on the consumer. It’s going to be based off of their horoscope and each month there will be a new style that comes with your horoscope. The color of the bracelet will depict your birthstone. So say you are born in January, a Capricorn and your birthstone is the ruby. The color of the bracelet will be ruby red with a tiny ruby by the clasp and will have your horoscope of that month along with it.
There are similar products that are out there already, but none of them depict the overall look that I would like for my product. For example; the picture above is a Zodiac bracelet from Jessica Elliot. It is a Leo bracelet and it is red because Leos are a fire sign. However, my bracelet would be the common color for Leos which is yellow.
